Plastic Life - Mauer Mag

Plastic Life | Lisa-Marie Kaspar

Plastic Life it's an ongoing series, not a single shooting. I started it in the end of last year to find a creative outlet for the much theoretical first semester of my master studies in information design, where I focus in sustainability and minimalism. I suddenly found myself only reading and doing research on these topics (as opposed to my former bachelor studies of design) and thus started to feel very drained by it. Plastic Life soon evolved to become a longterm project for at least the time of my studies.

It is mainly about our plastic consumption and pollution of the environment, as well as its strange aesthetic. It is an observation of how plastic is incorporated into our daily lives as well as how plastic carries a kind of paradoxical aesthetic.
