As a film student, I always wanted my photography to be linked to it; that my images could tell stories and achieve a cinematographic texture I find so melancholic. I now know that nostalgia can only be achieved by shooting analog.
When I started reviewing my digitized negatives, I realized that I could tell something: the grain, the sensitivity of the material, transmits a lot of sensations with something made almost from pure unconsciousness: choosing something that my eyes sees, shooting, and that's it.
And although there may be models, fashion and a lot of pose in my work, there is still an intension, something that I seek to transmit in each of the photo shootings, wether it’s intimacy, rebellion or youth.
